Bus Priority Corridor selection, Exploration and Feasibility

12 January 2026 - 1 February 2026

Bus Priority Corridors are one of the ways in which we want to deliver better and healthier main roads. Healthy Main Roads, as defined in our Road Danger Reduction Strategy, can take a variety of shapes, with tailor-made objectives. Lambeth has received funding from TfL’s Bus Priority programme and therefore, the primary focus will be on improving bus journeys. on this main road. Bus Priority contains a wide variety of measures to improve bus journey times and enhance the overall journey experience.

We use a mixture of data sources, such as traffic counts, parking pressure, bus speed data and the Healthy Streets data from TfL. This corridor was identified as a corridor with existing bus underperformance and/or a forecasted deterioration of bus performance. We collect local feedback and combine this with our existing data sources.
