Thornton Avenue (B221) Bus Priority Timeline

For each corridor, we collect a range of data to inform our designs. We also use best practice when creating bus priority measures.

For certain corridors such as Thornton Avenue, where journeys are more direct, we produce a concept design for people to give feedback on during a Design Engagement phase.  

As part of our design engagement, we reach out to local communities to make sure their views are represented. We contact stakeholder organisations like Tenant and Resident Associations, hold discussions with local ward councillors, carry out online engagement and letter drops so the public can stay informed and their feedback taken on board.
