Resident Consultation: Have your say on Housing Staff Practices

We want to hear from you

From October 2026, the Government is introducing new rules to make sure housing staff have the right skills, knowledge and training to provide a good service to tenants. These changes are part of the Government's response to the Grenfell Tower Inquiry.

The new rules mean that social landlords, including Lambeth Council, must make sure staff are properly trained and able to deliver high-quality, respectful services. Some housing staff will also need to have or be working towards a recognised housing qualification by October 2029. We must also develop a Code of Conduct for housing staff.

We would like to hear about your experiences of dealing with Lambeth Housing staff. Your feedback will help us understand what we do well and where we can improve.
