Sharing Results
A decision has been reached on the Phase 10 cycle hangar proposed locations.
All representations received along with officers’ recommendations were presented in a report which was considered by the Council. The full decision report with all associated appendices can be viewed on the following web page, Decision - Proposed Cycle Hangars – Phase 10 Results of Public Consultation | Lambeth Council
After careful consideration a decision has been made to proceed with 86 of the 91 cycle hangars proposed in Phase 10. The following five locations will be abandoned;
· Cosbycote Avenue
· Evandale Road
· Meadow Place
· Vauxhall Walk
· Walcott Square
Alternative locations will be investigated for consultation in future phases of the cycle hangar programme.
Installation Works
The installation of the hangars will commence on 19 May 2025 and will last approximately 2 months.
Works will be carried out Monday to Friday between 7am and 4.30pm. When and where necessary, “no parking” cones and warning signs will put in place between 24 and 48 hours prior to hangars being installed to indicate the areas where parking will be prohibited. On the days where work is being undertaken in your street, please avoid parking where “no parking” cones and signage have been put in place to allow for the works to proceed efficiently.
Installation timetables, with a break-down of which locations will be installed that week, will be updated weekly on the Lambeth Cycle Parking website: www.lambeth.gov.uk/streets-roads-transport/cycling-walking/cycle-parking/street-cycle-hangars-residential-use
