Cycleway 48 Healthy Route

Phase 4: Hillside Road to Valley Road

This section of the route mostly follows quiet streets within the Streatham Hill Low Traffic Neighbourhood. Wayfinding is due to be installed in Spring 2026.

Lambeth has now installed a dedicated cycling and walking crossing facility (parallel zebra) to aid pedestrians and cyclists crossing Leigham Court Road (between Mount Nod Road and Leigham Avenue. Furthermore, a raised junction table was introduced, to reduce traffic speeds on the approach to the new parallel zebra crossing. The crossing is particularly beneficial for pupils and parents of Dunraven School who previously had minimal safe crossing points here.

Traffic calming was installed on Leigham Court Road as part of our 20mph speed compliance programme.
