Living with Dementia in Lambeth: Your Voice Matters

What is this consultation about?

Lambeth Council are in the process of developing a new dementia strategy for the borough. In order to shape this piece of work, we want to hear from you - those who are living with dementia, carers, families, neighbours, and friends. We want you to help us understand what life is really like in Lambeth when dementia is part of your world.

What we want to know

• What’s working well for people living with dementia in Lambeth?
• What’s difficult or frustrating?
• What support do you wish was available?
• What do you want decision-makers to understand?
• You don’t need to prepare anything. Just come as you are and share what you feel comfortable sharing.

What we will do with what you tell us

We will use the information you provide us and your experiences to:

• Shape our priorities
• Identify gaps in support
• Make sure our strategy reflects real life, not just policies
• We also share what we’ve heard—so you can see how your voice is making a difference.

We hope to have a draft strategy by the Autumn. This page will be updated with the strategy.
