Lambeth Civic Awards 2025
Our winners announced!
The Lambeth Civic Awards ceremony was held on Tuesday 22 April at Lambeth Town Hall. This was an incredible celebration of a huge array of amazing individuals and organisations across Lambeth that give their time, work, and passion to help and improve the lives of others.
From a total of over 480 nominations, there were 45 finalists and 9 award-winners along with two special awards, one for Outstanding Achievement to Lambeth and a Special Recognition Award which were announced on the night. In addition, the mayor highlighted and recognised the action of two local heroes who helped save the life of a long-standing staff member from Brixton Rec by performing CPR last month.
The evening was hosted by Mr Cee and the ceremony included our guest speaker Levi Roots, a song performance from a local performer Esther Ole and a dance performance by dance group Empyrean LDC. This was a great opportunity to showcase the diverse talent we have right here in Lambeth. The Lambeth Civic Awards 2025 were an amazing opportunity to recognise and celebrate the immense contributions of our passionate voluntary sector, vibrant business community, and the incredible people of Lambeth and all they do for the community.
Thank you to our sponsors Marston holdings, paybyphone, Wates, OpenView, APCOA Parking and Brixton Brewery for sponsoring this years event and making it a great night.
You can listen to a few words of thanks from the Mayor of Lambeth, Councillor Jean-Paul Ennis on YouTube
The programme for the event is available online which provides more detail on each of the finalists and the work they do within Lambeth.
