Lambeth Can Move survey
What stops local people being physically active?
Please help us to understand by completing this survey, hosted by our partners at London Sport.
We are working with London Sport and other partners to develop solutions to our physical activity crisis. This project is called Lambeth Can Move.
We are particularly interested to hear from parents, women and older people with low levels of activity.

As a thank you for participating, you will be entered into a draw to win one of five £100 Amazon Vouchers. The five winners will be drawn at random on 31st October 2026, and informed by email by London Sport.
Why is this important?
More than half of children and young people in Lambeth are inactive, achieving less than the recommended minimum one hour a day for under eighteens. Adult inactivity levels vary, but are worse among women, older people, and those facing income deprivation.
Low activity levels are implicated in many poor health outcomes, including diabetes, heart disease, stroke, musculoskeletal health, depression, dementia, and mental health in general.
Physical activity is beneficial to health, and boosts mood, self esteem, and sleep quality, while helping with stress.
Your responses will help the partnership to understand how to build new initiatives and projects to overcome barriers to activity.
Why now?
Lambeth is one of 92 places in the country, chosen by Sport England for targeted funding based on low activity levels and high deprivation. Funding will help create understanding, leadership and culture change, and is initially focused on: Lambeth Walk, Stockwell, Brixton and Loughborough Junction, Tulse Hill, West Clapham, and West Norwood.
Lambeth Can Move is a collaboration for change, with local organisations at its heart. In each of these six Anchor areas, a local partner is leading the work. These partners are working with local voluntary sector leaders to understand and design solutions. The six anchor organisations are: Black Prince Trust, Thriving Stockwell, Ecosystem Coldharbour, High Trees, Clapham Park Project, and Thriving Norwood.
The collaboration lead is London Sport. More information is here.
