What happens after the statutory consultation?

The ETO is valid for up to 18 months (3rd June 2023 - 3rd December 2025). After the first 6 months consultation, but before the 18 months are over, a decision would be made on whether to make the ETO permanent.

The results of the consultation along with other relevant data and officers’ recommendations will be presented in a report to the Cabinet Member for Sustainable Transport, Environment and Clean Air, who will make a decision on whether to make the scheme permanent or not. This decision and associated report will be published during or after the trial.

This page will be updated when more information is available about this.
