Homelessness Strategy Temporary Accommodation (TA) Residents Consultation

Lambeth is refreshing its Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy. This review takes place as councils particularly those in London face unprecedented budget constraints with difficult decisions ahead.

The strategy sets out how, over the coming five years, we will work to prevent homelessness and support those who face or are at risk of becoming homeless. We are consulting on the main priorities for the strategy.

It’s useful to have a read through the strategy to comment on the proposals. A summary of the strategy is also available for you to read. The strategy is based on a homelessness “review” which is full of lots of data you may also find useful.

We are also particularly interested in the experiences of people currently living in temporary accommodation and how we can use those experiences to shape the priorities of the strategy and its delivery.

We will use your feedback to prepare a final version of the Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy for the council to approve at Cabinet. Thank you for your time – your participation in this important consultation is appreciated.
