Franconia Road Street Tree Felling

Following investigations as part of Lambeth council’s normal tree management practices, this tree has been conclusively implicated in subsidence related damage to property, and regrettably, will be removed to prevent further damage. We received no submissions to the consultation either for or against this proposal.

 Please note that as part of our policy to not remove healthy trees wherever possible, all other reasonable mitigation measures, such as a crown reduction, were evaluated and in this instance have been deemed unsuitable.

 Replanting in situ will be considered upon surveying in summer 2025. If the location is not deemed suitable for new tree planting due to the risk of further damage, a replacement tree will be planted in the surrounding area. Felling is scheduled for the week commencing 28th July 2025.
