Waterloo & South Bank: Community Space Strategy - Space Operators Survey

Help Us Understand Community Space Provision in Waterloo and South Bank

We are undertaking a study to better understand current and future community infrastructure needs across Waterloo and South Bank.

For this study, community infrastructure includes community centres, leisure and play spaces, faith buildings, health centres/GPs, libraries, youth facilities, advice centres and other spaces that support community activity.

This study seeks to understand both how community spaces operate and how they support the delivery of activities and services for local communities.

The purpose of this survey is to collect information about:

• how spaces are used and managed
• the activities and services they provide
• levels of demand
• operational challenges
• future needs in provision

The information collected will be combined with demographic analysis and community engagement to build a robust evidence base. which will help us identify priorities for future provision and inform how development, funding mechanisms and partnerships may contribute to supporting community facilities in the area in the future.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
