Interactive map

26 January 2026 - 22 February 2026

Help us learn about your neighbourhood by sharing your views on the Croxted Road Bus Priority Corridor interactive map.

Some prompts to consider:

  • Where are your current bus journeys impacted?
  • What issues cause delays to your bus journey?
  • What can be done to improve these journeys?
  • What other measures can be taken to improve the overall bus journey experience e.g. new zebra crossings? Where should these be located?
  • How can we improve the area around and to/from bus stops?
  • What can be done to improve pedestrian safety along the corridor?

Click on the map below where you would like to add a contribution and fill out a short survey. You can do this for as many areas as you like.

Your comments will provide valuable insight and will be used to feed into the Corridor design.

Please note, by default your submission will showcase your name and email address.

To keep your submission anonymous, please select the 'post anonymously' option at the end of the survey.

Jams & bus delays occur only at times of Dulwich LTN & Rosendale Rd timed closures.

Bus journeys : No problem other than around school start and end times. Clear cause is road closures during these times

Dulwich LTN is the problem. But you could make the road much safer for pedestrians.

Bus priority measures needed

Good initiative that needs a thoughtful approach

Speed cameras and pedestrian crossings desperately needed

The whole road is affected because of ill thought out actions in other areas forcing all traffic to croxted

CHANGE AUTHOSRISED PARKING BAYS TO REDUCE AND ELIMINATE PINCH POINTS; TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES; YELLOW BOX; ROAD MARKING

This appears to be a continuation of the war on the motorist. Croxted is log jammed since the LTN diverted all vehicles

Categorising Croxted Road as a "bus priority corridor" fails to recognise that it is a street that families live along

Reduce speeding, improve access to bus stops. No to bus lanes, the road isn't wide enough.

Bus lane instead of parking

Increase Bus frequency with a extra Crystal Palace to Brixton services.

Very ironic

No bus lane, no LTN, need speed cameras

Too much traffic is funnelled down Croxted Road

Remove Dulwich LTNs

More pedestrian crossing points needed

I have no problem with bus delays

Croxted jams (and impact on busses) is entirely artificial, caused by ltn/schoolzone traffic from Dulwich and rosendale.

The traffic light here causes queues northbound. Additionally, the turn is narrow meaning thay buses and HGVs block

Cars travel far too fast, install speed cameras. Reduce parking to one side only, buses struggle to get through.

Remove the Dulwich LTN to stop funnelling traffic to our road. DO NOT introduce a bus lane. Resurface the pavements.

Hi I object strongly to a bus corridor or bus lane being established. I think it will cause more problems than it solves

A bus lane in Croxted Road will cause distress to local families, residents and businesses.

Less parking on pymers mead stretch, more greenery!

Dulwich Village LTN, Safer School Streets on Turney and Rosendale Road have effectively choked Croxted Road

Bus lane would create more traffic and cause parking issues . Dulwich LTN has

Excess of bus stops.

Zebra crossing near Pymers Mead

Bus journey and pedestrian safety

More planting and trees

Pinch point near Rail bridge nearest Norwood Rd

A Zebra crossing near Guernsey Grove

Side road zebra crossings at the junctions of Hawarden Grove and Guernsey Grove

Road too wide at Thurlow Park Ryad junction, inviting speed

Parking slows the buses

Croxted road is a residential road

Dulwich LTN and poorly designed bridge junction in Herne hill only cause of conjestion Herne

Journey times are horrendous during Dulwich LTN times. As others have said, there needs to be a joined up approach.

Full support for this initiative - need to reduce car use. Bad pollution and bad for all our health

The road frequently narrows due to parked cars on both sides, forcing the bus to wait. Need to reduce parking

Suggestions

I hardly use buses but something needs to be done about traffic speed on this stretch of Croxted Road.

Speeding cars

Bus lane not appropriate on Croxted Rd

The lights at this junction sometimes have incredibly long waiting times for traffic turning out of Croxted Road.

No to bus lane. Yes to safety measures.

We live right in the affected stretch and the speed of buses is noisy, unsafe and affecting the stability of our home.

NO bus lane, but crossing points, speed camera and remove timed restrictions in Dulwich Village. JOB DONE!

Crossing

what to do to improve pedestrian safety "along the corridor" depends on what evidence there is of danger to pedestrianss

A bus lane is NOT the answer.

LTN consequences

open up the road through Dulwich village as it used to be, relieving the pressure on smaller roads in the area.

Tight corner with informal parking on both sides (single and double yellows) means passing buses get stuck

Buses are delayed by the volume of traffic and the narrowness of the road relative to traffic volume and parking.

The road is clearly too narrow for parking on both side but the displaced cars will then take over local housing estates

bus often stuck due to high levels of traffic + parking + poor driving. one-one or less parking or bus gates would help?

It should be obvious that the buses are slowed down bu the extra traffic caused by the Dulwich village LTN.

Cancel the LTN that has caused the traffic on Croxted Road

Bus stop placement

CPZs and LTNs

No to speed humps, yes to traffic calming measures and

Pedestrian safety is risked by cars using this road as a high-speed cut through to avoid congestion elsewhere.

South Croxted Road and Dulwich Wood Park issues

Traffic /speeding / pedestrian balance

Traffic congestion on the south circular blocks the bus route. There should be a yellow box.

No to bus lanes - the road isn’t wide enough. Need cameras to prevent cars going through red lights Croxted/Turney

Speed cameras please

Bus journeys frequently run to time when required

The Dulwich LTN has pushed traffic onto Croxted road.

I am 77 next month and rely on bushes and our car (I have a Blue Badge) to get around. West Dulwich Station is in accero

Bus priority very welcome

Bus priority + safe crossing

Speeding

Ban driving and parking on Croxted . We need an LTN

LTN to protect cycling lane on Rosendale.

The most effective way to improve bus times would be to remove the LTNs on the surrounding areas.

A dedicated bus lane would affect flow through of other traffic, especially the Herne Hill junction bottleneck

Paint the railway bridges

The bus stop under the railway bridge is by a permanent puddle, often very congested and very unpleasant.

The core issue is the LTN from Southwark council

Re route the buses

The problem with croxted rd is not from the south circular to brockwell park, it's from south circular south.
