We're excited to announce a line-up of guided walks within the Re-Imagined Abbeville Road area, on:
- Wednesday 22 January at 14.30
- Tuesday 4 February at 18.30 (in this session we will also discuss the safety of women and girls in the area).
As part of the ‘identify’ phase of our engagements, we wish to work with the local community to identify ways to improve local streets.
Please note – The Re-Imagined Abbeville Road has not yet been designed!
These Walk & Talk events offer a unique opportunity for residents to share insights about their local streets contributing to its safety, inclusivity, and overall enhancements for active travel.
During each walk we will:
• Explore the goals of the Re-Imagined Abbeville Road, Lambeth’s Transport Strategy and other important and relevant policy.
• Identify issues and opportunities in your neighbourhood through facilitated questions and discussion.
These will be slow walks and short routes with several stopping points to allow observations and discussion.
