Urination, Littering & Noise Nuisance Along Main Residential Streets

The council are understandably pushing & promoting the fab Brixton night time economy however, residents are suffering:

• Public Urination - add more public toilets e.g. between Brixton tube station to Brixton Water lane. So many drunks urinate in our forecourt which is particularly worse during Brockwell music festival time. Not nice to look out of window / enter / exit our forecourt to see a guy urinating.
• Littering - people throw litter through garden railings into private gardens. Though thank you to the lovely street cleaners, they never use their litter pickers to lift litter through railings so residents have to pick up the rubbish dropped by pedestrians. Some of during lockdown spent money and time to plant flowers to make gardens pretty for residents & pedestrians and to attract wildlife. Exasperated, should we just leave the litter in the gardens facing Effra Road and make the street look uncared for?

Public Urination & Littering are a public offence & are fineable

• Noise Nuisance - happy revellers, along Effra Road are v noisy on the way home :(

Please resolve this, e.g. :

• Install more public toilets
• Add more litter bins
• Create fun (and take pride) public awareness posters and display not just Brixton High Street
• Consider using the LED highway alert signs (that are sometimes place by the Ritzy Traffic lights to ask sweetly, people to please not urinate/ litter / be noisy along Effra Road?
