Suggest men are advised to keep their distance particularly after dark. Even if they mean no harm it can feel threatening if a girl or woman is followed too closely by a man.
Men who have had to much alcohol or are on drugs feel more threatening because they are uninhibited.
Better street lighting down quiet roads. Street lamps closer together and emitting a stronger light. There are patches between street lights that are quite dark.

As a disabled resident who is a wheelchair user, escooter and bicycles are menace as they don't respect Road signs. Many times I just avoid being crashed into when using pedestrian crossing and similar situation on pavements. Also often they abandon they bikes blocking drop kerb so blocking my access to pavement
