Lambeth Council is working with Lambeth Portuguese Wellbeing Partnership (LPWP) to put on a free to attend evening to celebrate Portugal Day and the local Portuguese speaking communities on 13 June!
Join us from 6pm - 10pm for a free music and dance filled evening to celebrate the local community around Wilcox Road. Lambeth's Big Shift are making space in the street for LPWP to deliver an evening of cultural performances from Portuguese speaking countries around the world.
- Stages for music and dance performances hosted by LPWP
- Family activities provided by LPWP and Lambeth Council
- Extra outdoor dining areas
- Food and drink from local businesses
- Dr Bike
Tate South Lambeth Library will also be open with free entry for you to enjoy:
- A relaxed music performance by Samba de Bamba
- A FREE "azulejos" tile painting workshop by Art4Space
- Sampling free light Portuguese snacks and pastries
- Chill-out spaces in the library and its garden
The library is wheelchair accessible with a wheelchair accessible toilet.
